a different perspective...

Lately a lot of things have happened that have really made me think… God has a plan for everything. As hard as it is to really accept that, it is the truth. 

And we know that all things work together for good

to them that love God,

to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:28

Even the hard things… I don’t think they are always necessarily in Gods perfect plan, but God always tries to use them. 

I used to regret making some bad decisions. I still do regret them, but now I am thankful {in a way} that I made those decisions when I did. If it had happened much later it would have ruined a lot more of my life. It would have hurt a lot more people. It still hurt people, but to the minimum.

I am also thankful that I have dealt with certain struggles. It is never easy, and we never like them while we are going through them, but dealing with certain issues has helped me know how to better help others that I know who are going through the same thing. {2 Corinthians 1:3-4}                

Sometimes we question. Its easy to do. We rarely get answers though. We don’t always understand. BUT- God has a plan, and he is going to use everything- every hardship, heartache, trial, struggle- to glorify himself. 

Look at things differently. I have challenged myself to do this a lot in the past several months. Look for the good in every single situation. Search for what God wants to teach you in each thing. Look for ways that you can use each situation to the max.

Its hard, but God will see us through.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;

and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him,

and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6
