school.
You know, lots of books, quizzes, tests, stuff to memorize…
oh, and projects. 3 of them right now.
~ Vocation project. {my original topic was photography,
but after a lot of thought, I settled on Homemaking.} {1000 words}
~ The Patriotic Project. Part 1 is an essay on the subject
of “The Diminishing Influence of Biblical Values in Public Life Today”. {400-500
words} We have to do research on one of the men that signed the Constitution,
and include what we think their view on that topic would be. {I wanted to do a
guy that I didn’t know much about, but then I couldn’t find resources, so I
decided to just do Patrick Henry.}
Part 2
is an editorial {100-250 words}
Part 3
is an assignment to collect 3 to 5 articles that have something to do with our
topic.
~A book Report. This isn’t just any book report though. This
is supposedly a long essay on a Biography. I haven’t decided which one to do
yet, but I will definitely do something that I have already read, since I don’t
have the time to read another book right now.
rollerblading. It has been a lot of fun to randomly go to the trail with friends. We bike/rollerblade all the way around town. I rollerblade. I used to like to rollerblade, but this summer, I have come to regard it as one of the most exhilarating things to do. I would go every single day if I could!
art prize{and a sleepover}. One of my friends invited me to go to GR with her this last week. I ended up spending the night with her{don’t forget watching a really awesome movie, and eating fresh pineapple}, and spending most of the day down there. It was a lot of fun!
writing. I haven’t been blogging regularly. There are a lot of reasons, mainly because I am so busy, but also because I haven’t been able to write anything post worthy lately. But I am working on that. No promises though.
cooking. This week my mom decided I needed to step up and start helping with dinners. So I made baked macaroni and cheese, and enchiladas. Both turned out a lot better than I expected, but… its going to be a learning process. Or relearning rather.
sleeping in. French braids. random walks outside. Getting caught up on Bible reading. Unpacking my fall/winter clothes. Spending time with Sam. {he finally learned to walk} ChapStick. {completely lame inside joke}
My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
Psalms 73:26
