Hello Baby No. 1 || 9 weeks

Its been 4 weeks now since we found out that God was blessing us with a precious little miracle! <3 It came as a complete surprise to both Josh and I, but we are beyond excited to meet our precious little one in just under 7 months!

By the end of 8 weeks, all of your baby's major body organs form. The face, fingers, toes, ears and eyes have appeared. Your baby is about 1 inch long.

weight gain: so far I've only gained about 2 lbs. I was slightly overweight to begin with, and fluctuated constantly, so its hard to tell exactly. It definitely feels like a lot more though! =P

I am already having to pull things out of my closet so I'm not tempted to wear them. I'm not into maternity clothes quite yet, but I don't want to stretch my normal clothes out. I've basically just been wanting to wear t-shirts and culottes with elastic waists. Thankfully a couple of my skirts still fit for those times I have to go out.

morning sickness: thankfully I have not really been sick/nauseous at all- only a handful of times. I am mostly just exhausted/wanting to sleep all. the. time. {my poor hubby}

cravings: I haven't had many cravings, and ironically no weird ones yet. My "cravings" change on a daily basis, but milk, orange juice, boxed potatoes, and juicy sweet fruit are always good. Most of the time only a few other things sound good. {like my homemade herb bread with butter, homemade blueberry muffins(which turned into bread and I only got a couple pieces), Jr. Roast Beef Sandwiches or a Jamocha Shake from Arby's, Little Ceasar's Crazy Bread, and Nacho Surpreme's from Taco Bell} The few other things are never the same.

other stuff: someone(<3) gave us a Doppler, and we were able to find the baby's heart beat on Saturday!!! It was very faint, but a heartbeat nonetheless! =D

It seems like my feet are constantly sore, so I'm really loving any kind of foot massage that I can get! :)

Somewhere along the line we decided instead of calling the baby "it", we were going to call it the little blueberry! Ironically, the nickname has stuck, and just about everyone uses it now! :)
